How to make money on Fiverr without skills

Let's say that you found a lucrative niche on Fiverr. That niche shows demand on one hand and high selling prices on the other and you want to take advantage of that. Your challenge is that you don't have the skill to preform that task. What can you do?

Well, the obvious alternative is to learn the kills you need to sell that service. That is not necessary a bad option, especially if we're talking about some thing you think you will enjoy doing and doesn't take a lot of time to learn.

On the other hand some skills are harder to master and it will take you a too much time to get really skillful. In those cases you could take an alternative approach. You could apply a tactic that is called Fiverr Arbitrage, a way to make money on Fiverr without skills.

To arbitrage gigs on Fiverr you have 2 options:
  1. So you already found a lucrative service to sell, now, you will have to find some one to do the job for you. the best ways are to look on Google for freelancers that provide that same service and have them do the work for you. Obviously the rate they charge you has to be less than what you can charge on Fiverr (minus Fiverr fees). You could look for freelancers in that field or you could look for more specific market places that may specialize in your specific area of interest and are less known than Fiverr, so for that reason people there will charge less for the same service.
  2. Another Fiverr arbitrage tactic is looking for gigs on Fiverr and check if you can sell them at a higher price elsewhere, like in another freelancing website.

How to stand out on Fiverr

In order to get more orders and make more money it will be useful to stand out of the crowd. In addition, if you're new to fiver it will be also good to take action in order to stand out and attract your first customers. There are some key actions you have to do in order to stand out on Fiverr and in this post I'll try to go over those.
Have a good profile picture

This will make people relate better, they will see a human being, not just another sales offer. Make sure they see your face in the picture, this will make you more reliable.

Add a good picture to your gig

This will probably be the fist thing people will notice when they go over all the gigs they can choose from. If you can include a video that is even better. Not every one has one and it will help you to stand out on Fiverr.

Write a good description of your gig

Describe your service fully and try to write in an appealing manner and state why you are fit to do that specific job better that others. Describe your experience, both as an online freelancer and in the offline world. Tell people why you are passionate about what you do and what are the things that makes your work special.

Have a good feedback from your clients

as that will attract more clients and happy client can also refer new clients. If you’re new and don’t have a serious track record you may want to give something extra to attract more costumers. That could be faster delivery than your competitors or extra reviews of the work you're doing.

On this post, I tried to give you a practical answer to the question of "how to stand out on Fiverr" .I know it's not always easy to do all of that stuff, like making a video or telling people why you are better than others in your field, but taking the time to do all of the above could prove to have a big affect on how well you do on Fiverr.

How much can I make on Fiverr

Did you ever ask yourself "How much can I make on Fiverr?", well if you did, I'll try to answer that for you. Obviously the answer to that question depends on a number of factors like what type of gig you're doing, your ranking and how much time you have to work.

In order to give you a proper answer to you're question I tried looking for real people telling about their experiences online. Here are a few good ones:

Patrick Enyum, Freelance Copywriter at Fiverr is writing:

"If you are very good at the service you offer, you will get more positive reviews and more referrals from your satisfied clients. I have had many clients contact me to tell me that they were referred by a former client of mine.

There’s is this stereotype that if you charge higher, you will get less clients. That s true. But you will make more money while working less. If you have built a reputation for good work, then you can charge your clients higher and give them justification for the high price. If you understand the power of upsell, you will understand this perfectly.

Finally, you must work hard to keep increasing the traffic to your gigs. That’s where your hustle comes in.

This is my experience from my 20months+ on Fiverr as a copywriter. On average, I bank $2,000 per month from Fiverr and I’m not even a top seller…..just a Level 2 Seller."

Brandon Li, freelance programmer on Fiverr is writing:

"Some of the Top Sellers can make huge amounts. Of the Top Sellers, many earn $2000 - $5000 per month, while a few can make $25,000+ per month. This is even taking into account the 20% fee!

I got these numbers by looking at Top Sellers and checking how many reviews they got in a single day. Some things to keep in mind:

I assumed that everyone who bought something left a review. In reality, buyers do not have to leave a review. (For me, about 25% do not leave reviews)
Some sellers are actually teams of people. Considering the earnings are split, $25k might not seem so high.

But those are the highest earning sellers. It would take some time for a new seller on Fiverr to get started. After a while, someone could expect to make a few hundred per month realistically."

Md Asadullah, worked at Fiverr is writing:

"It’s totally depend on your effort and quality service. As an Expert Email Marketer i have start with 60$ which is now more then 1k$."

These are taken from Quora

As you can see, you can make a decent amount of money. You can also see that the number can differ, depending on the service you are selling, how good is your ranking and what level seller are you.

How to use Fiverr to earn money

So you ask yourself how to use Fiverr to earn money, this post will show you how. It includes an overview, an example of a gig I posted and sold and a reference to YouTube videos.

What is Fiverr?

Fiverr is one of the largest and know freelancer marketplaces. Fiverr is the leading marketplace for services starting at just $5 for simple services or more for more complex ones.

Lots of people use Fiverr every day to buy or sell services such as business promotion, social networking and advertisement to funny videos, graphic design and translations to mention just a few. These offered services are called “GIGS”.

You can find almost anything you need on Fiverr. People from all over the world use the site to offer their services and expertise. So if you want to use Fiverr to make money, you will have to post your own Gig and people can buy a service from you. In this post, you'll find out how exactly you can do that.

How to use Fiverr to earn money?

The most obvious way to start is by making a list of your skills or areas of interest. After you do that, go on Fiverr and look for gigs in that corresponds with your list.

Out of those see which gigs are being sold. You can see that on the sales page of each gig, the number of gigs sold, the rating and the fees that the seller is charging.

Now, it's time for you to choose one or more of those and post your own gig. When you start, it's probably recommended to try and deliver additional value relative to the competition. At least until you get some good feedback that will hopefully support more sales in the future.

How I made money on Fiverr?

I actually want to give an example for a different approach. I found a way to get free bitcoins (fractions of bitcoins), so I put together a short guide on how to get free bitcoin, posted a gig for $5, after it was sold a couple of times I updated the price to $10.
